Senate Bill 989 requires that secondary containment systems be tested periodically to ensure the prevention of leaks. Secondary containment systems covered by SB 989 are:
Double wall tank annular space (if not hydrostatically monitored)
Secondary containment of piping systems
Any tank sump required by regulation
